You can’t own ideas

Filed Under (Just posting, Tips and guides) by BlackhatWay on 18-08-2008

First I want everyone to draw attention to header of BlackhatWay.com

Oooh! What a sexy header! It’s the first part of my design upgrade.

We also have a new 125×125 banner instead of the first version I made myself. It was awful.

Feel free to place this banner to your site. :) I can also do banner exchange. You can find my contact-details at the advertising-page!

125x125Banner

125x125Banner

So.. Let’s go to the post itself. You, know a great way to look for post ideas is to search forums for inspiration. News about your niche or something like that. It’s probably best in the MMO-niche as you got a shitload of resources to look for. DigitalPoint and forums like that.. Your rival blogs.. See what they are talking about there and add your opinion!

Now.. This isn’t what I wanted to tell you. I wanted to tell you how to make money by using this same way of finding inspiration!

You know, you can’t own an idea. If you get an idea, put it into effect,  and it’s successful, there are going to be copycats and you can’t do anything about that.

And what are we going to do?

-We will steal someone’s idea and sell it.

There are hundreds or thousands of threads on DigitalPoint for an example, telling newbies how to make money online.

Let’s just take that idea, rewrite it as an ebook and sell it at Dp! The Buy/Sell/trade -section of DigitalPoint is a place where hundreds of newbies daily are looking for ways to make easy money. Name it “The BIGGEST thing of the year! Make easy passive income with no startup costs and minimal work!” and sell it for something like $9. Give out a few review copies to people with high reputation, they will never give a bad review as they are getting the product for free. As long as you keep some quality..

This actually isn’t even as evil as you might think. There are hundreds of ebooks telling about YouTube-marketing, Zangocash, Yahoo marketing, Basic affiliate marketing etc. etc. etc. Do you think that those have original ideas and unique content? Some might have, but most of them are just the same information written in a different way.

Same thing on WarriorForums’s WSO-section for an example. Most of the people are just selling rehashed crap over and over again, although there are some gems floating around with that crap.

I once wrote an ebook like this. It was about cookie stuffing. All the information I had learned by reading forums. I just added a few of my own experiments and sold it for around $10. I raked in around $200 in just a few days. The ebook told people pretty much the same thing as this post I wrote a few weeks ago.

Next week I have a surprise for you.. A little competition.. Be sure to subscribe to BHW so you can be the first one to take part! How does cash prizes sound to you, hm?

Flipping an image host

Filed Under (Just posting) by BlackhatWay on 11-08-2008

Flipping websites is one of the most easy ways of making quick cash. Today I’m going to tell you about flipping image hosts.

I have to link to The UniversityKid as I got the idea for writing this post from him. =P He has other great guides about flipping websites so check it out.

I have once flipped an image host with a good success. TUK’s answer to my question on a Q/A-session made me wonder why I haven’t done it again. If you somehow don’t know what are image hosts about.. umm.. you can host your images there. Imageshack.us is probably the most popular example.

So let’s start. You need some easy to remember domain. Some LLLLL.com’s work well, and so do domains with image/pic/picture in them.

There is a free script called Mihalism Multihost which you can use to set up the image host. Most of the image hosting -sites use it. Create or hire some cheap designer to create an unique header for the site.

Yay. Your site is up. You could sell this site for some bucks now, but we won’t do so.

Go to some site with funny pictures or pictures of celebrities. Some a bit naughty pics will do too. Just Google for these sites if you don’t know any. Upload these pictures to your brand new site.

Now go around humor/celebrity/porn forums posting thumbnails of those images. Do this for a few days, around 10-30 minutes each day and you will receive a shitload of traffic. The site with unique header, pictures uploaded and traffic should go for at least $100. Probably a lot of more. Just use more time to post the pictures around and you willr eceive more traffic. More traffic=More money.

I have seen sites like this flipped for thousands.

Make money by flipping expired domains

Filed Under (Tips and guides) by BlackhatWay on 08-08-2008

Again a non-blackhat post, but I promised that it all won’t be blackhat on the first post.

Flipping domains is a perfect way to make money online. People think that you need hundrteds of domains to find a gem or that it’s hard or.. a lot of things.

Well. Domaining can be hard business. All the good ones are taken. Don’t you need to spend hundreds, thousands or.. millions to get a good domain?

Nah. Those domains will drop some day.

Huh?

- You know, you usually buy a domain for a year or a few years. And when that time runs out, the domain drops.

But why would anyone let a domain worth of hundreds or thousands just drop?

-Well, there could be several reasons. The owner might own domains worth of thousands or millions.. He maybe couldn’t care less about a domain worth of a couple of hundred. He might think  that the domain is worthless, me might have forgotten to renew it.. he might have died.. We don’t care. We just know that it will drop and that we can snatch it.

Of course the domains worth of thousands are usually snatched by big companies for themselves or for people that requested them to do so, but you can find gems worth of more than reg fee often. Maybe even hundreds or thousands sometimes. If you are lucky.

So where can you find these domains?

Those are the three favourite sites of mine. You can sue the first two to search domains with even existing pagerank or Alexa-rank. You could just flip the domains or park them at Sedo for an example with domains that have traffic. Happy hunting!

The first domain I snatched with this way I sold for over $40 profit.

I am very pretty much into domaining. I’d love to write more about it. I’d like to ask you, my readers, do you want to hear more about domaining?

Btw, as I obviously don’t have article for each day, I was thinking about not writing every each day. I will however try to update the blog at least every Monday. Or more if I got ideas. That way I wouldn’t need to write any fillers. Just real, good content. :D Make sure to subscribe via rss or email to get my posts delivered straight to your inbox!

Showing you some luv

Filed Under (Just posting) by BlackhatWay on 07-08-2008

Ahoy, I am back from my trip.

I just wanted to tell you about a few plug-ins I have just enabled at BlackhatWay.com

Do-follow and Commentluv. Now it’s really worth it to comment to the blog. Do-follow.. Well, disables no-follow from my blog passing the link juice to your site. And Commentluv shows your last blog post on your comment.

My blog doesn’t have too much traffic or pagerank yet, but probably and hopefully it will some day have.. And then it’s good to have a lot of comments written. :D

Also if you haven’t noticed, there is also a top commentators -plugin which shows the link to the websites of the top 10 commentators of the month. So that’s another reason to comment.

How to get free ebooks using torrents

Filed Under (Tips and guides) by BlackhatWay on 04-08-2008

Har, har, har. I am not going to tell you how to download warez or use torrents or anything. That’s not nice to do at all. And most of the ebooks are bullshit anyways, better if you don’t even look at them. Gah.

So why did I name this post like this then?

- This is a little experiment of mine. As my blog is just starting, I have promoted it a lot by commenting blogs that have commentluv on. Commentluv is a nice Wordpress-plugin that shows your last blog post under your comment. (I have it on BlackhatWay too!)

I got the idea for this experiment for a real post about downloading warez on a MMO-blog. The owner received a lot of comments from people that didn’t like warez at all and probably some traffic trough commentulv-plugins and forums.

I am not going to post a new post for 3-4 days. I will go to a small trip tomorrow and I will post my next post either Thursday or Friday. I will see how much traffic I get from blogs with commentluv included.

Make sure to subscribe to my rss-feed or via email to see when I post again! (Email subscription form is in the right sidebar.)

Could you use something like this in any other way?

- I started to think this yesterday and I came up with an idea like this:

1. Build a page that tells the visitor to install Firefox to access the site.

2. When they come back with Firefox installed, take them to a page that asks you to install Zango. Zango is a nasty program that can kind of capture your browser and take it to another page than you are going to. I don’t myself like to use Zango and it’s up to you if you want to use it. It’s nothing illegal, but it’s really nasty to the person that installs it.

3. Go around popular forums linking to this page and telling it’s hot picture of a celebrity/hot story about a celebrity/hottest porn of the year/whatever.

I haven’t personally tried this, but I don’t see why it wouldn’t work.

How did you find this post?

Ask affiliate-programs for personal discount-coupons

Filed Under (Tips and guides) by BlackhatWay on 03-08-2008

This is not any blackhat-trick or anything amazing, but a neat little technique not everyone knows about and that can make incredible commissions if used right.

I’m talking about personal discount-coupons affiliate-programs give away.

One of the biggest companies that give away these personal coupons is Hostican. I also emailed Hostgator and asked if they could give me one, but they said that they are going to add in in the future. You could try your luck with any of your favourite affiliate-programs.

So what’s the point of these personal discount-coupons?

-In my last post we talked about cookie stuffing. Coupons are another way of tracking your affiliate commissions. When someone types in this coupon on the affiliate’s website, you will get commission for this sale. This is very powerful way of getting commissions if you can make the coupon popular.

Here are some ways you can spread the coupon and make them earn BIG:

- If you have a popular blog, you can of course write a post or page about this company and mention the discount-code. Pretty common sense.

- Search for forums related to the niche of the affiliate-program. You can do the same as we did in the cookie stuffing -post. This just is nothing unallowed and you won’t get banned. =P A lot of people are asking for coupons for hosting services at places like DigitalPoint. Start your own topic about the service and mention the code. Also search for other threads talking about the same service and bump it with the coupon.

- Google for coupon-websites. For an example you could Google for “Hostican discount-coupons” and contact the website-owners and tell them about your coupon. They will mostly be happy to add your coupon to their website if they don’t have one like that already. Also search for general coupon sites that don’t have any coupons for the service already.

- Yahoo Answers. There are a lot of people asking for discount-codes there. Or if someone is searching for an example for the best webhosting-service, mention Hostican to them and give them the discount-coupon. This is probably the most targeted traffic you can get.. There are a lot of other uses for Yahoo Answers, but I will talk about those later.

Have you ever tried coupon-marketing before or even had your coupon featured on a big website? What kind of results have you seen?

Cookie stuffing forums

Filed Under (Tips and guides) by BlackhatWay on 02-08-2008

My first real post talks about basic cookie stuffing on forums. Most of you know about this, but well, all the blogs that talk about blackhat -stuff, must mention cookie stuffing. Oh yay.

So what is cookie stuffing about?

Most of the affiliate-networks track your commissions trough cookies. When someone clicks your affiliate-link, they will get your cookie.

With cookie stuffing, we can inject the cookie to someone’s computer without them clicking any link or knowing. This time we are going to do this on a popular niche targeted forum so that most of the people will buy the product with our cookie injected.

So let’s start. You need a hosting ad some kind of a domain for this. The domain can be a subdomain or anything, the host just needs to allow .htaccess-files. They will probably mention in their faq or help -page if they do. If they don’t, just try to create one. :P

So first we are going to pick our target. A niche-forum of some sort. Go to Google and search something like.. “Dog training forums”(Why do people always use dog training as an example-niche?) The niche should be something which people spend shitloads of money into.

So just find a popular forum in a popular niche and register. Now start browsing for threads that ask or talk about stores that sell stuff related to this niche. Check out the shops and if they have an affiliate-program, sign up. If you can’t find any shops accepting affiliates, just find one by Googling or using Clickbank or CJ or anything.. You can advertise the shit out of it on the forum yourself. Someone will buy.

So.. Let’s get to the stuffing-part. There are a lot of people buying the stuff mentioned in the forums daily and you can get all the comissions from those sales. Woohoo!

So, head to your cpanel or ftp of the hosting. Create or open the .htaccess-file. Just create a new file and name it .htaccess

Write this to the first line: (You can do this multiple times on the same file. Just write image2.jpg and another affiliate-link to the next line and so on)

Redirect /image1.jpg http://www.SomeAffiliateWebsite.com/aff123

Simple. Now head to the threads about talking this SomeAffiliateWebsite and write something like this:

Oh my god!!! This shop is the best!!!1 You should really buy from there. It’s so cheap and their products arer the best! Yay!

The some domain is of course the one where you placed the .htaccess-file to. And obviously there isn’t any file called Image1.jpg so the site will got o check what the hell there is. And when it does that, it loads your affiliate-cookie to the computer of the viewer of the thread. Hehhehehhee.

Now they will go to the website and buy something and you will receive a cut. Brilliant.

I usually do(did) this with a commonly known hosting-company, but I kinda overdid it. I spammed their own support-forum and received almost $1000 in comissions in just a few days.. I end up banned of course. Although I was able to get my affiliate-account back by telling them how sorry I am and promising not to do it again, but my point was that don’t over do it. And don’t be as stupid as me and try to do something like spamming your affiliate’s own forums. And also don’t go crazy with this. If the company sees that you are getting many comissions daily, they will surely check your referrers and then you are screwed. Don’t overdo this and you have a big chance of getting paid without a ban.

Will this harm other people? You might steal someone’s affiliate commissions. That’s kinda evil, but you often have to trash all your ethics to make money.

By the way.. Most of forums allow images in signatures.. Just a little tip. ;)

I have been kinda busy today so I didn’t put much effort in this post. It might be very hard to read. Feel free to ask any questions by commenting.

See you tomorrow!

Just an introduction

Filed Under (Just posting) by BlackhatWay on 01-08-2008

Ahoy, welcome to The Blackhat Way!

This is a blog dedicated to all the shady ways of making money online.

First.. Let me introduce myself. I am a young man from Finland. I have been into websites and making money online for a few years now. I want to say that I am not an expert. Not in making money online or in blackhat-methods. I am not a guru of any kind. But usually those gurus just try to sell you something instead of providing good, working content to you. It’s much better to read articles by “newbies” as they are also still trying and learning like you.

But I will do my best to provide you just the top-quality content. Only stuff that has worked for me and that will work for you too. I will try to post at least once a week. Probably and hopefully more. :)

The blackhat ways are the main topic of my blog, but there will be something else too. My methods aren’t all just blackhat. Most are, but if I find a whitehat technique that makes me money, why shouldn’t I post it?

There will also be posts about my own projects and campaigns, and news from the internet marketing -niche. But not much. I will try to focuse at helping you to make money.

One more thing I’d like to add: Although most of the technique I write about are blackhat, they will NEVER be anything illegal. And they will not do any harm to other people. The worst things my techniques might do, are stealing other people’s affiliate-comissions and infecting adware with pay per install -programs.

So.. that’s the post of today. Tomorrow I will start with the real content by telling you about cookie stuffing. That might be known stuff by most of you guys, but I will also tell you a story of how I got banned and un-banned from a big affiliate-program because of a very stupid mistake in cookie stuffing.
