I am the owner of a design consulting business and have been doing work for another design firm. I asked this firm to have their blessing to put my logo on the work that has been subcontracted out to me. He was very resistant but has not declined my request yet... I wanted to get others opinions on this so that I have more of an understanding as to what is appropriate in this type of situation. I have been doing 3D models for a nationwide cellphone retailer and am producing, what I consider to be, really nice work and would like to get some exposure school of etiquette and protocol. I have a very good relationship with this business and want to be respectful of them, but I also want to increase my company's visibility. Your helpful input is very much appreciated.
