Previously, other browser manufacturers such as slotxo Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Apple Safari announced the end of Flash Player support and set a date to remove them from their browsers.

  • Mozilla Firefox announces the removal of Flash Player in the 2020 or later versions.
    • Apple Safari on macOS announced that Flash Player was removed in Preview 99 version (releasing in early 2020) and version will be updated later, Flash Player will be removed.
      • Google Chrome announced the removal of Flash Player in the 2020 version as well.



Come this time, Microsoft did it too, from the latest update “KB4577586” that let people download it. (Not yet updated automatically) Installed will delete Flash Player from Windows, resulting in Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge no longer able to use Flash Player, effective on Windows 10, Server 2019, Server 2016, 8.1, Server 2012 and within December this year It will start updating automatically to remove Flash Player.

More importantly, it is an update that cannot be canceled as well.




As Adobe announced it was discontinuing support for Flash Player in 2020, Flash Player itself is an outdated technology with a serious vulnerability.
